Dean was a graduate student in Spokane, originally from East Wenatchee. He ran an '85 Camaro with a 406 small-block, AFR 227 heads, a solid roller and an 850 Holley on ET Streets. His best was a 9.97 at 137.5 MPH, with a 1.59 sixty-foot. Not bad for a street car on a Friday night.
